Inquiry Question 5

Describe the tools/measures/approaches you plan to use to get a more detailed and accurate profile of students’ learning in relation to that challenge. Justify why you chose these approaches and tools.

  1. Tools, measures and approaches. I like the diversity of what you using here Karen and the hunch about student mindset. The other things might help alongside student voice in trying to have that mindset develop. Thanks so much for sharing. He ihu oneone a Karen.

    You have highlighted above the significant proportion of Māori students. Wondering about Māori world views and if there is anyone you have or can connect with for authenticity? This could be helpful for us all especially in terms of designing rich experiences in response to local curriculum.

    1. Hi Fiona. Thanks for commenting on my blog. Regarding the Maori connection. The y13 students who are my inquiry group are working with a client who is Trina, the Head of Maori. The show that they are designing for is about Matariki. She would probably be a good one to pick the brains of about how she teaches in her class room???
